    (g) Parental Benefits and Labour Disputes

    A disentitlement from benefits under section 36 of the Employment Insurance Act will be suspended during any period for which the claimant can demonstrate that he or she is otherwise entitled to benefits for reason of caring for one or more new born or adopted children, provided the claimant can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the Commission that, before the work stoppage, the claimant had anticipated being absent from his or her employment for that reason and had commenced making arrangements for that absence.
