The official versions of Umpire decisions, commonly referred to as CUB (Canadian Umpire Benefit) decisions, are filed with the Office of the Umpire. The official decisions rendered by judges of the Federal Court and the Federal Court of Appeal are published in the Federal Court Reports (F.C.R.) and the original documents are filed in the Registry of the Federal Courts. The official versions of Supreme Court of Canada decisions are published in the Supreme Court Reports (S.C.R.). Furthermore, while every effort has been made to post on the Internet all CUB and all employment insurance-related Federal Court, Federal Court of Appeal and Supreme Court of Canada decisions, it is possible that not all decisions have been posted.

Certain personal information, such as social insurance numbers and personal addresses have been removed from CUB decisions to protect individuals' identities. As of July 1, 2008, Service Canada no longer includes personal identifiers, specifically the names of appellants, witnesses, and other interested parties in CUB decisions that are posted on the Internet. This does not affect CUB decisions issued prior to this date.
